We're excited to offer free online public access to our entire collection of local newspapers. Our partnership with the Portal to Texas History offers free online access to digital copies of local newspapers, including current newspapers Giddings Times & News and Lexington Leader. Older, out-of-print local newspapers are also available. All issues are keyword searchable. The newspaper digitization project is ongoing, with newspaper issues becoming available as they're scanned and uploaded to the website. The expected completion date of the project is May 2024.
