Giddings Public Library and Cultural Center

Community meeting room

The community meeting room is a large, spacious gathering place with a maximum occupancy of 103. The room may be reserved in person for use during the library’s operating hours for public use by non-profit organizations for a $100 room-use fee and a refundable $50 deposit. Proof of non-profit status must be submitted. 

The non-refundable room-use fee includes access to tables and chairs, use of the full kitchen, and room access during the library’s opening hours. Reservations must conclude 15 minutes prior to closing. Reservations may be made up to three months in advance and require a liability waiver. Non City-sponsored meeting-room events must be free and open to the public. No room-use fee will be charged for library events, City of Giddings events, library-sponsored events, or when serving as a polling place during public elections.
