Step one: Beginning May 5, register with any librarian at the Giddings Public Library. You'll receive a reading log to keep track of your reading. Registration continues through June.
Step two: Begin reading. Keep track of your reading time using the reading log you received when you registered.
Step three: Complete your reading log and turn it in to the front desk. You'll receive an entry ticket for a chance to win one of five fabulous prizes.

*The fine print: The Adult Reading Challenge is open to adults (age 18 and older). Participants do not have to be members of the library. If requested, non-members will need to show a valid I.D. as proof of age. Participants must complete a reading log to enter a drawing for prizes. One entry per person. Depending on availability, prizes advertised may be substituted for items of similar value. The drawing will be held in July. Prizes may not be sold. Winners will be notified by phone and will have 14 days to pick up their prize at the Giddings Public Library if they cannot attend the prize ceremony. Prizes not picked up within 14 days will be awarded to another participant.
